The iConverter 1-Unit Powered Chassis uses an external AC power adapter. It supports a single iConverter and is not manageable, it allows the implementation of a Plug-In-Module media converter as a stand-alone unit. It is the ideal solution and allows you to purchase just one media converter form factor. It is also ideal in cost sensitive applications where management is not required. The iConverter Chassis supports the entire family of iConverter media converters. Supporting 10, 100, 10/100 and Gigabit Ethernet and OC-3, OC-12 technologies, the iConverter is suitable for LAN and MAN networks where copper to fiber and multimode fiber to single-mode fiber conversions are required.
