To help students learn what a safe volume level is when using a headset, the Titanium headsets are also the first to restrict the volume playback level to the ASHA and OSHA-recommended maximum of 85 decibels. There is a switch on the earcup to disarm this feature for students with special needs on the HPK-1030 / HPK-1530 and on the cord of the HPK-1010 / HPK-1510.
