A classic contemporary silhouette, the Adesso Odyssey Torchiere lamp is a triple pole design that flares upward from the base to hold a metal bowl shade. With 2 bulbs shining through the glass bowl shade, your room will be filled with bright ambient light thats great for any task. An Adesso patented 300 Watt Double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150 Watt incandescent or LED bulbs which provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. Metal base. Glass bowl shade. Requires 2 x 150W incandescent or LED equivalent bulbs (sold separately). NOTE: Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable led bulbs (DO NOT USE: 3-way bulbs or CFL"s). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable LED will minimize the low setting flicker, but may still occur.
